L. Adam Fox is a music producer and songwriter with an output spanning two decades and multiple genres. He’s an arts organizer currently working to advance the cause for diverse music in Canada.

Fox’s current artistic focus is based on instrumental and electronic music, with an intent to create non-lyrical narrative works. He recently released an EP (“Tidal”) under the name Sunalta, a recording that drew national praise in Canada. His previous published works as Carbolizer, Field Assembly, and in the band Ten Year Drought, have received critical praise variously since 2001. Fox has performed widely in Canada and the United States, and has collaborated with other Canadian artists including Morgan Greenwood (Baths), Parker Thiessen, and Siskiyou (Colin Huebert). His music production has been featured in the short art film “In Blood and Bone” by Calgary-based conceptual artist Alana Bartol. Fox has also been working as an arts organizer, journalist and program director for community media and music-oriented not for profit organizations since 2004. He currently lives and works in Calgary, Alberta (Treaty 7).
